Ideal candidates bring strong senior-management experience managing operations, budgets, people, sales and strategic initiatives; manufacturing, distribution, industrial or supply-chain experience is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with organisational objectives

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across the business

• Oversee daily operations, productivity and performance

• Drive revenue growth, profitability and business development

• Develop and manage budgets; monitor financial performance and costs

• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders

• Identify growth opportunities; monitor market and competitor activity

• Lead, mentor and develop management teams and employees

• Ensure effective workforce planning and performance management

• Identify and manage business and operational risks

• Ensure compliance with labour, health and safety, governance and company requirements

• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence

• Monitor KPIs and report business performance to the Managing Director and Board

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Commerce, Operations Management or related field

• MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous

• Minimum 8–10 years’ management experience

• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role

• Proven experience managing budgets, operations, people and commercial performance

• Manufacturing, distribution, industrial or supply-chain experience advantageous

• Strong financial, commercial, leadership and strategic planning skills

• Excellent communication, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving abilities
