We are building the trust layer for professional hiring.

POP is a verification-first hiring platform built in South Africa. We exist because hiring runs on assumptions that hurt both sides — and because that is fixable.

Most CVs go unread. Most references happen too late to influence the decision they were meant to support. Most professionals have no real way to present their credibility — and most employers have no real way to assess it at scale.

POP exists to put trust earlier. We built a platform where professional history can be independently verified — by peers, by employers, by issuing institutions — and surfaced as a clear, explainable signal both sides can rely on.

We are based in South Africa. The hiring problems we are solving are global, but we believe building from a market with a strong talent base, deep professional networks, and high stakes around employment integrity gives us a useful vantage point.

Verification should be structured.

Independent confirmation is more useful than self-promotion. Every input on POP is auditable, weighted, and explainable.

Reputation belongs to the person.

A professional's verified record should travel with them — not be locked inside the platform that recruited them.

Transparency over algorithms.

Black-box scoring undermines the trust it claims to provide. Trust Scores on POP are explainable down to the contributing signal.
