The ideal candidate for Chief Financial Officer brings proven experience as a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)), backed by over ten years of progressive responsibility within finance roles. Your deep familiarity with IFRS standards ensures accurate preparation of accounts while your up-to-date knowledge on new interpretations keeps the organisation compliant. You possess comprehensive expertise in South African tax regulations covering income tax, VAT submissions, PAYE requirements-enabling seamless compliance across all territories. Advanced proficiency in Sage200 allows you to manage both routine management accounts as well as annual financial statements efficiently. Your expert-level Excel skills empower you to conduct detailed analyses that inform business decisions. Planning complex tasks comes naturally; you coordinate multiple priorities under pressure without compromising accuracy or timeliness. Interpersonal abilities are central-you build dependable relationships within teams while engaging suppliers or customers thoughtfully. Communication is one of your strengths; you write clear reports for executives and articulate findings verbally when presenting insights. If you have experience in telecommunications or fintech sectors or are familiar with Finnivo software solutions these are advantageous but not essential.

Mandatory: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with more than 10 years of progressive finance experience demonstrating commitment to excellence in financial leadership.

Mandatory: Proven track record in preparing accounts according to IFRS standards along with up-to-date knowledge on new IFRS interpretations.

Mandatory: Comprehensive understanding of South African tax requirements including income tax, VAT submissions, PAYE regulations.

Mandatory: Advanced proficiency in Sage200 for both management accounts preparation and annual financial statement finalisation.

Mandatory: Expert-level skills in Microsoft Excel enabling detailed analysis and accurate reporting.

Mandatory: Demonstrated ability to plan effectively by organising complex tasks while coordinating multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Mandatory: Excellent interpersonal skills allowing you to build strong relationships within teams as well as externally with suppliers or customers.

Mandatory: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills facilitating clear report writing and stakeholder engagement.

Nice to have: Experience working within telecommunications or fintech sectors providing valuable industry insight into evolving trends.
