Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager will oversee accounting, statutory reporting, group reporting, tax compliance, external audits and business analysis. You will lead a team of five financial controllers and play an integral role in ensuring accurate financial data is available for decision-making while driving process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise in finance and tax compliance, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Fully qualified CA(SA) / CIMA

5-8 years of proven experience in finance-related roles within the financial services sector

Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing teams

Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and reporting practices

Expertise in statutory compliance (Corporate Tax & VAT)

Proficiency in financial ratio analysis and financial systems

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (essential); SAP knowledge is advantageous
