Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a well-established company in the logistics and supply-chain industry. The role is based in Durban and focuses on delivering high-quality financial reporting and analysis for operations in Cape Town depots.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards. Support month-end and year-end closing processes. Maintain general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations. Collaborate with internal teams to analyse financial data and trends. Assist in budgeting and forecasting. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits. Identify and implement process improvements. Provide financial insights to aid decision-making.

Required Qualifications

Recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must be a registered CA(SA). Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong understanding of financial reporting and tax regulations. Attention to detail and ability to work independently. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
