Job Overview

Hire Resolve’s client urgently seeks a Financial Manager in Johannesburg to analyse daily financial activity, advise upper management on future plans, and protect the company’s financial health in a finance-technology context.

You will own monthly management accounts, FP&A and project reporting, annual budgets, key-metric reporting, statutory financials, and debtors/creditors operations—combining CA(SA) rigour with hands-on Xero proficiency.

Compensation on the listing is CTC R750k–R800k per annum. Ideal for a qualified CA(SA) with 6+ years’ financial-management experience who can work independently and as part of a tight finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts

Lead reporting, Financial Planning & Analysis, and project finance support

Prepare annual budgets and track performance against plan

Prepare monthly and annual reporting against established key metrics

Prepare financial statements and supporting packs

Execute debtors and creditors functions to maintain cash discipline

Advise upper management on financial plans and company financial health

Ensure accounting standards and internal controls are applied consistently

Required Qualifications

Proven experience as a Financial Manager in a similar role

BCom Financial Accounting Degree and qualified CA(SA)

6+ years of relevant experience

Xero software experience

Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and standards

Excellent analytical skills

Ability to work independently and in a team
