Job Overview

TWK Agri, a trusted leader in agriculture and beyond, has a Group Financial Manager vacancy in its Trade division in Pretoria, Gauteng (ref 207222). The role provides consolidated financial management, analysis and operational support to the Finance Executive: Trade across the division and its underlying businesses.

Scope covers consolidated cash-flow forecasting and liquidity planning, budgeting and forecasting, working-capital discipline across inventory, debtors and creditors, capex evaluation and post-investment review, management reporting, cost control, IFRS technical support and consistent inventory costing. The manager also supports ERP implementation, data clean-up, testing and finance-process improvement.

The incumbent coordinates Trade Financial Managers to consistent deadlines, reporting standards and controls without replacing their accountability, escalates financial, control, tax and compliance risks, and promotes standardisation and automation. CA(SA)/CIMA, 3–5 years’ financial management (agriculture or manufacturing preferred) and bilingual Afrikaans/English required. Apply before 13 November 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and consolidate short-, medium- and long-term cash-flow forecasts for the Trade division; investigate material variances

• Support liquidity planning, funding requirements and prioritisation of payments and capital commitments

• Drive working-capital discipline across inventory, debtors and creditors; escalate collection risks

• Consolidate and monitor divisional financial plans, budgets and forecasts; define measurable cost and volume drivers

• Coordinate financial evaluation and monitoring of capital expenditure, including post-investment reviews

• Review consolidated monthly financial statements and management reports with insight on trends, risks and opportunities

• Provide technical accounting and IFRS support and ensure consistent inventory costing and overhead allocation

• Support ERP implementation, financial data clean-up, system testing and reporting improvements

• Coordinate identification and escalation of financial, control, tax and compliance risks

• Support Group Insurance in maintaining adequate cover for divisional assets

• Coordinate Trade Financial Managers on deadlines, reporting standards and controls; promote standardisation and automation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting

• Professional certification: CA(SA), CIMA or similar

• 3–5 years’ proven financial management experience, preferably in agriculture or manufacturing

• 3–5 years’ leadership or team-coordination experience

• Experience in financial reporting, cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, working capital, inventory, cost control and capex management

• Advanced knowledge of financial management, IFRS, tax and relevant legislation

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling; ERP and BI reporting tools

• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
