Job Overview
Accountable for delivering integrated, risk-based assurance across Corporate and Investment Banking, Nedbank Africa Regions and strategic digital initiatives. Provides executive management, governance forums and regulators with independent assurance and insight across business, technology, data and emerging risks. Combines strategic oversight with delivery governance to ensure quality, judgement, sustainable resourcing and influential stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Lead integrated, risk-based assurance across business, technology, data and emerging risks. Provide independent assurance and insight to executive management, governance forums and regulators. Oversee delivery governance, quality, judgement and resourcing while engaging influential stakeholders across complex portfolios.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree (Honours or higher) in Accounting, Auditing, Risk, Finance, Financial Mathematics or related field. Preferred professional qualification (CIA, CA(SA), FRM, PRM, CISA or equivalent). Minimum 10 years in internal audit, risk, assurance or control within banking or financial services; leadership of complex assurance portfolios; executive, Board and regulator engagement; investment banking and technology/strategic execution risk experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Deep CIB expertise; digital, cloud, data and transformation audit experience; multi-country banking experience.
