Job Overview

Goldman Tech Resourcing (Stand-Out Staffing) is recruiting a Head of Finance for an established corporate business based in Johannesburg. The main purpose of the role is to manage the company’s financial strategy, ensuring long-term profitability and stability while overseeing financial planning, budgeting, reporting and regulatory compliance to guide executive decision-making.

The successful candidate will bring progressive finance leadership with hands-on capability in monthly management accounts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts, plus strength in team management, financial risk and internal controls, statutory compliance and commercial analysis on major accounting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the company’s financial strategy to ensure long-term profitability and stability

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting (including rolling forecasts)

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts and related reporting for executives

• Ensure regulatory and statutory compliance across finance operations

• Strengthen financial risk management and the internal control environment

• Provide commercial analysis to guide executive decision-making

• Lead and develop the finance team

• Operate major accounting platforms and advanced Excel for reporting and analysis

• Partner with business leaders on performance, cash and investment priorities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (NQF level 7/8) with a CA(SA) or similar professional designation

• 7 to 10 years of progressive finance experience

• Proven hands-on capability producing monthly management accounts, annual budgets and rolling forecasts

• Strong track record in team management, financial risk and internal controls, and statutory compliance

• Commercial analysis using major accounting platforms and advanced Excel
