Job Overview

A vehicle-tracking and recovery-solutions client is hiring a National Installations Technical Manager in Johannesburg to lead end-to-end delivery of all installation-related projects nationally. You will be the central link between customer requirements and internal execution—coordinating Sales, Technical, Operations, and Supply Chain for scalable, predictable rollout capability.

The remit spans system enablement (FSM/PSO/FSM Mobile), national project governance, stakeholder management, budget/cost control, and POPIA/ISO compliance. You will own SIT/UAT, CAB processes, vendor SLAs, and handover into BAU while driving digital-transformation and workflow automation.

Posted 20 July 2026 with closing 31 August 2026. Suited to PSIRA Grade A project leaders with 5+ years technical/operational PM experience and 3+ years managerial exposure in field-service or multi-site rollouts.

Key Responsibilities

Integrate projects into installation workflows; improve processes, tools, and systems nationally

Align execution with FSM, PSO, FSM Mobile and critical business systems; drive standardisation

Lead FSM platform optimisation, system integrations, access/permissions, SIT and UAT

Lead full installation project lifecycle—scope, plans, milestones, budgets, risks, PMO governance

Coordinate customers and internal teams; manage rollout schedules and expectation management

Facilitate Agile ceremonies; partner with L&D on training and deployment readiness

Manage project budgets, cost recovery, invoicing alignment, vendor contracts and SLAs

Ensure POPIA/ISO compliance, CAB approvals, audit trails, and executive governance reporting

Required Qualifications

Matric (NQF 4); National Diploma in Engineering, Technical, IT, Project Management or related (NQF 5)

Project Management certification (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or similar)

PSIRA registration – Minimum Grade A

Desirable: Degree in Technical or Business discipline (NQF 6)

Minimum 5 years project management in a technical or operational environment

Minimum 3 years managerial or supervisory experience

Proven large-scale / multi-site rollout and cross-functional coordination experience

Field service, installations, or technical delivery background; MS Office; valid SA driver’s licence
