Job Overview

A leading online gaming company in Cape Town is looking for a Senior Product Manager to manage its Payments Division—covering the customer-facing experience of depositing and withdrawing, the payment choices available to customers, and the wallet and balance experience behind them. You will own and help define the product area and roadmap for the Cashier.

The role leads discovery, defines customer and business problems, shapes product direction and works with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes. You will own complex integrations with Engineering and Architecture, navigate the payments landscape (PSPs, alternative payment methods, card schemes, e-wallets and open banking) and operate within regulated obligations such as AML, KYC, PCI DSS and responsible gambling.

Hybrid role suited to a product leader with proven PM/Senior PM experience on digital web or app products—ideally with significant ownership of payments, cashier, wallet or transactional products—and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and define the Cashier product area and roadmap across deposits, withdrawals, payment choice and wallet/balance experience

• Lead product discovery, prioritisation, roadmap definition and outcome measurement

• Define customer and business problems and translate strategy into evidence-based product direction

• Own complex integrations, partnering with Engineering and Architecture on platform and technical direction

• Use customer research, behavioural data and market insight to inform product decisions

• Ensure products meet regulatory obligations (AML, KYC, PCI DSS, responsible gambling)

• Align cross-functional teams around shared outcomes and influence senior stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager on digital web or app products

• Ideally significant ownership of payments, cashier, wallet or transactional products

• Working knowledge of PSPs, alternative payment methods, card schemes, e-wallets and open banking

• Experience owning complex integrations and shaping ambiguous or emerging product areas

• Understanding of regulated environments incl. AML, KYC, PCI DSS and responsible gambling

• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills

• Payments, fintech, gaming, betting or other regulated-environment experience beneficial (5–10 years' experience per listing)
