Head of Internal Audit

Develop and implement a comprehensive internal audit programme for an FMCG company based in Johannesburg. Lead a team of internal auditors to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Provide independent assurance to leadership, drive continuous improvement, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. 10+ years experience in auditing with at least 5 years in a managerial role. CIA, CPA, or other professional certification preferred. Thorough understanding of GAAP and IIA standards. Proven experience developing and executing risk-based internal audit plans. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
