Job Overview

Recru-it is recruiting a Service Delivery Manager: Private Networks for a telecommunications client in Centurion (CareerJunction 2646767; posted 30 October 2026; advert valid to 28 November 2026). Reporting to the Managed Services Head, the role is accountable for the quality and continuity of service delivery across the full Private Networks customer lifecycle – from final design sign-off through project handover, post-project acceptance and ongoing operational management.

The Service Delivery Manager is the central point of coordination between Solutions Architects, NPO teams, Operations, Project Managers and the customer, ensuring every Private Networks / 5G solution is technically sound, operationally supportable and continuously optimised once live, and owning network optimisation, consolidation and scaling across the Private Networks customer base.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct end-to-end solution design reviews with Solutions Architects and customers

• Secure final design sign-off with NPO teams and capability, resourcing and spares sign-off with Operations

• Hand over signed-off solutions to Project Managers as consolidated High-Level Designs (HLD) and support delivery

• Lead post-project acceptance with Operations and customers, concluding the Low-Level Design (LLD)

• Chair monthly reporting between Operations and customers; drive resolution of SLA failures

• Own Private Networks optimisation, consolidation and scaling across all customers

• Maintain ongoing customer engagement on managed-services performance, network moves and enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or Information Technology

• 5+ years in telecommunications service delivery with direct Private Networks / enterprise connectivity exposure

• Working knowledge of Private Networks / 5G architecture and RAN, Core and Transport fundamentals

• Familiarity with HLD/LLD documentation and ITIL incident, problem and change management

• PMP/PRINCE2, ITIL Foundation or vendor Private Networks/5G certifications advantageous

• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to customer and operational sites
