Regional SHEQ Manager – KZN Manufacturing

Manage the full Quality function for KZN (QA and QC), ensuring products conform to agreed specifications

Coordinate, report and follow up on raw-material, product and packaging trials, ISIRs and DRMs

Ensure compliance with Quality and Food Safety policies, systems and processes documented in the QMS and FSMS

Lead and develop the Quality team of QC supervisors, managers and inspectors

Respond to customer quality complaints and returns; resolve root causes with Raw Materials, Sales and Production

Manage the SHE team and portfolio – OHS Act compliance, medicals and IODs, PPE and uniforms

Own legislative compliance, training and licensing, and all environmental initiatives

Relevant Engineering, Quality or related degree (essential – HSE-only qualification or diploma not sufficient)

Minimum 5 years’ senior quality management experience across multiple factories / business units

Hands-on production quality and SHE management experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience managing QC supervisors, managers and inspectors

Essential experience implementing FSSC, ISO 18000 and ISO 9001

Strong Excel and Word skills; excellent written and spoken English; psychometric assessments apply
